The Sylvia Wright Trust
The Sylvia Wright Trust is based in Leeds and has 12 members with a range of backgrounds, skills and faiths. There are no paid staff. The Trusts primary objective is to raise funds and by keeping expenses to a minimum, we are able to send 97 pence out of every pound raised to India.
Currently the Trust sends to Sylvia £200,000 each year to subsidise revenue costs and over the years the Trust has also funded virtually all
equipment costs for the school, hospital, day centres and nursing college.
