Sylvia Wright Day Centres

In 2004, Sylvia identified another need and opened two Day Centres for disabled children. These centres are supported by the local government authorities.

The two centres each take in 40 children with disabilities such as Downs Syndrome, Cystic Fibrosis and Cerebral Palsy. The centres offer care and whatever learning and play the children can manage. They also provide appropriate physiotherapy and give the parents some welcome respite.

The cost of this work is very small and the results are both astonishing and humbling.
